Aviation Ultraléger
L'aviation ultra-légère (appelée ULM dans certains pays) est le volant d'un avion léger, à 1 ou 2 places à voilure fixe. Certains pays différencient entre le changement de poids et les avions à 3 axes, appelant l'ancien "ULM" et le dernier "ultraléger". À la fin des années 1970 et au début des années 1980, principalement stimulé par le mouvement du deltaplane, de nombreuses personnes ont cherché un vol motorisé abordable. En conséquence, de nombreuses autorités aéronautiques ont mis en place des définitions des avions légers et à volley-ball qui pourraient être soumis à des réglementations minimales. Les avions résultants sont communément appelés «appareils ultralégers» ou «ULM», bien que les limites de poids et de vitesse diffèrent d'un pays à l'autre. En Europe, la définition sportive (FAI) limite le poids maximal au décollage à 450 kg (992 lb) (472,5 kg (1,042 lb) si un parachute balistique est installé) et une vitesse de décrochage maximale de 65 km / h (40 mi / h) . La définition signifie que l'avion a une vitesse d'atterissage lente et un roulement d'atterissage court en cas de panne du moteur.
