Office of Fair Trading
Le Bureau du commerce équitable était un service gouvernemental à but non lucratif et non ministériel du Royaume-Uni, établi par Fair Trade Act 1973, qui applique à la fois la protection des consommateurs et le droit de la concurrence, agissant en tant que régulateur économique du Royaume-Uni. L'objectif de l'OFT est de faire en sorte que les marchés fonctionnent bien pour les consommateurs, en assurant une concurrence vigoureuse entre les entreprises de commerce équitable et en interdisant les pratiques déloyales telles que les opérations frauduleuses, les escroqueries et les cartels.
