Phasor
En physique et en génie, un vecteur de phase, ou fasor, est une représentation d'une fonction sinusoïdale dont l'amplitude, la fréquence et la phase sont invariantes dans le temps. C'est un sous-ensemble d'un concept plus général appelé représentation analytique. Les Phasors séparent les dépendances sur A, ω et θ en trois facteurs indépendants. Cela peut être particulièrement utile car le facteur de fréquence est souvent commun à tous les composants d'une combinaison linéaire de sinusoïdes. Dans ces situations, les phasors permettent de prendre en compte cette caractéristique commune, laissant juste les caractéristiques A et θ. Le résultat est que la trigonométrie se réduit à l'algèbre, et les équations différentielles linéaires deviennent algébriques. Le terme fasass renvoie donc souvent à ces deux facteurs. Dans les textes plus anciens, un fasade est également appelé un pécheur.
