Potomètre
Un potomètre - parfois connu comme un transpromètre - est un dispositif utilisé pour mesurer le taux d'absorption d'eau d'une prise feuillée. Les causes de l'absorption de l'eau sont la photosynthèse et la transpiration. Tout doit être complètement étanche, de sorte qu'aucune fuite d'eau ne se produit. Il existe deux principaux types de potomètres: le potomètre à bulles et le potomètre de masse. Le potomètre de masse se compose d'une plante avec sa racine immergée dans un bécher. Ce bécher est alors placé sur une balance numérique; Des lectures peuvent être faites pour déterminer la quantité d'eau perdue par la plante. Le potomètre de masse mesure l'eau perdue par la transpiration de la plante et non l'eau absorbée par la plante. ▪ Un potomètre est un appareil utilisé pour mesurer le taux de perte d'eau d'une plante. Le taux de transpiration peut être estimé de deux façons: 1) Indirectement - en mesurant la distance, le niveau d'eau baisse dans le tube gradué sur une durée mesurée. On suppose que cela est dû à la prise de coupe dans l'eau qui, à son tour, est nécessaire pour remplacer un volume égal d'eau perdue par transpiration.
