Kelong est un type de construction offshore en bois, et peut être trouvé en Malaisie, aux Philippines et en Indonésie, ainsi qu'un petit nombre qui existe encore autour de l'urbanisation rapide de Singapour. Kelong a été construit par des pêcheurs spécialement pour la pêche, mais la présence d'une grande tortue était une maison pour la famille des pêcheurs. Kelong dibina tanpa perlunya paku, sebaliknya rotan digunakan untuk mengikat kayu balak dan papan yang menjafi bahan binaan. Kelong biasanya ditemui di perairan cetek, dilabuhkan pada dasar laut sedalam enam meter dengan cerucuk kayu sepanjang 20 meter. Sesetengah kelong tidaklah terpencil sangat kerana dihubungkan dengan darat melalui laluan papan. Ada juga jenis kelong bergerak, dan juga kelompok besar kelong yang membentuk komuniti luar pesisir yang besar. Dalam bahasa pasar Singlish yang ditutur di Singapura, perkataan "kelong" membawa maksud perbuatan mengatur perlawanan di kalangan pengadil, khususnya dalam perlawanan bola sepak.
