Koton

Koton est une chaîne de magasins avec plus de 4 600 employés et 255 en Turquie et 107 à l'étranger avec un total de 362 magasins dans 25 pays et le centre d'Istanbul. Koton, qui opère dans le secteur du prêt-à-porter, a été fondée en 1988 par Yilmaz Yilmaz et le couple Gülden Yilmaz à Istanbul. Yilmaz, dont la profession principale était officier et enseignant, a été mis en publicité avec un petit magasin afin de vendre plus de produits exportés. Le couple a quitté son métier après que le magasin a attiré un grand intérêt et a commencé à s'occuper de tout le magasin et du textile. Koton a commencé à produire sa propre production en 1995 et a ouvert son premier magasin à l'étranger en 1996 à Munich, en Allemagne. En 2014, il y avait 362 magasins, dont 107 à l'étranger, dont Koton, la Russie et l'Allemagne.

Koton, yaklaşık 4.600'den fazla çalışanı ve 255'i Türkiye'de 107'si yurt dışında olmak üzere toplam 362 mağaza ile 25 ülkede bulunan ve merkezi İstanbul olan mağazalar zinciridir. Hazır giyim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Koton, 1988 yılında İstanbul'da Yılmaz Yılmaz ve Gülden Yılmaz çifti tarafından kuruldu. Asıl meslekleri subay ve öğretmen olan Yılmaz çifti ihraç fazlası ürünleri satmak amacıyla ufak bir dükkan ile ticarete atıldı. Çift, dükkanın büyük ilgi görmesi üzerine mesleklerinden ayrılarak tamamen mağazacılık ve tekstil ile uğraşmaya başladı. 1995 yılında kendi üretimini yapmaya başlayan Koton, ilk yurt dışı mağazasını 1996 yılında Almanya'nın Münih şehrinde açtı. 2014 yılı itibari ile 362 mağazası bulunan Koton, Rusya, Almanya başta olmak üzere mağazalarının 107'si yurt dışında bulunmaktadır.
