Varicella
Il varicella è una malattia altamente contagiosa causata da infezione primaria con virus varicella zoster. Di solito inizia con un eruzione cutanea vescicolare principalmente sul corpo e sulla testa anziché sugli arti. L'eruzione cutanea si sviluppa in prurito, pelo crudo, che per la maggior parte guarisce senza cicatrici. Il vampiro è stato osservato in altri primati, tra cui scimpanzé e gorilla. L'origine del termine pocco di pollo, che è registrata come usata dal 1684, non è affidabile.
