L'estradizione è il processo ufficiale in cui un paese trasferisce un criminale sospetto o condannato in un altro paese. Tra paesi, l'estradizione è normalmente regolata da trattati. Laddove l'estradizione è obbligatoria da leggi, come tra le giurisdizioni subnazionali, il concetto può essere conosciuto più in generale come resa.
