Un idrante antincendio è una misura attiva di protezione antincendio e una sorgente d'acqua fornita nella maggior parte delle aree urbane, suburbane e rurali con servizio idrico comunale per consentire ai vigili del fuoco di sfruttare l'approvvigionamento idrico comunale per aiutare ad estinguere un incendio.
