Unità Prosodica
Nella linguistica, un'unità prosodica, spesso chiamata unità di intonazione o frase intonazionale, è un segmento di discorso che si verifica con un unico profilo prosodico. L'abbreviazione IU viene utilizzata e quindi la forma completa viene spesso trovato come unità di intonazione, nonostante il fatto che tecnicamente è un'unità di prosodia piuttosto che intonazione, che è solo un elemento della prosodia. Le unità prosodiche si verificano in una gerarchia di livelli, dal piede metrico e dalla parola fonologica fino ad una completa dichiarazione.
