Pirateria
La pirateria è in genere un atto di rapina o violenza criminale in mare. Il termine può comprendere atti commessi in terra, nell'aria o in altri grandi corpi d'acqua o in riva. Non comprende normalmente i reati commessi contro le persone che viaggiano sulla stessa nave come l'autore del reato. Nel XXI secolo, la comunità internazionale si trova ad affrontare molti problemi nel portare i pirati alla giustizia.
