Nell'aviazione, una planforme è la forma e il layout di una fusoliera e di un'ala di un aereo fisso. Di tutte le forme pluriennali utilizzate, esse possono essere tipicamente raggruppate in quelle utilizzate per il volo a bassa velocità, trovate sugli aeromobili di aviazione e quelli utilizzati per il volo ad alta velocità, trovati in molti aeromobili militari e aerei. La forma di piano può anche riferirsi all'area proiettata dell'ala. Da una prospettiva di vista dall'alto, si possono estendere le linee dai bordi anteriori e posteriori sul lato sinistro e destro della fusoliera finché non si incontrano nella linea centrale dell'aereo. La zona dell'ala insieme a questa area proiettata è comunemente indicata come area planforme. Viene utilizzato come parametro non dimensionale.
