Nazionalizzazione

La nazionalizzazione è il processo di assunzione di un'industria privata o di un patrimonio privato da parte di un governo o di un paese. La nazionalizzazione si riferisce di solito a beni privati, ma può anche significare che i beni posseduti da livelli inferiori di governo, come i comuni, siano trasferiti come stati. L'opposto della nazionalizzazione è di solito la privatizzazione o la de-nazionalizzazione, ma può anche essere la municipalizzazione. Le industrie che di solito sono oggetto di nazionalizzazione includono i trasporti, le comunicazioni, l'energia, le banche e le risorse naturali. La rinazionalizzazione si verifica quando i beni statali vengono privatizzati e poi nuovamente nazionalizzati, spesso quando un potere è un partito o una fazione diversa. Un processo di rinacionalizzazione può anche essere chiamato privatizzazione inversa. La nazionalizzazione è stata utilizzata per riferirsi alla diretta condivisione e gestione diretta di un'impresa o ad un governo che acquista una grande quota di controllo di una società nominalmente privata quotata in borsa.
