Retroreflector
Un retroriflettore è un dispositivo o una superficie che riflette la luce alla sua origine con un minimo di dispersione. Una parte frontale dell'onda elettromagnetica si riflette indietro lungo un vettore parallelo ma opposto in direzione dalla sorgente dell'onda. L'angolo di incidenza in cui il dispositivo o la superficie riflette la luce in questo modo è maggiore di zero, a differenza di uno specchio planare, che lo fa solo se lo specchio è esattamente perpendicolare alla fronte d'onda, avendo un angolo zero di incidenza.
