Tannino
Un tannino è un composto polifenolico vegetale astringente e amaro che si lega e precipita le proteine e vari altri composti organici tra cui aminoacidi e alcaloidi. Il termine tannino si riferisce all'uso di tannini di legno di quercia in abbronzatura di animali in pelle; Da qui le parole "abbronzatura" e "abbronzatura" per il trattamento della pelle.
