Troy era una città nota sia per la storia che per la leggenda, situata nell'estremo nord-occidentale dell'Anatolia, in quella che è ora Turchia, a sud della fine sud-ovest del Dardanelles / Hellespont e a nord-ovest del Monte Ida.
