Il dito bianco della vibrazione (VWF), noto anche come sindrome della vibrazione a mano (HAVS) o dito morto, è una forma secondaria della sindrome di Raynaud, lesione industriale innescata dall'uso continuo di macchine vibranti a mano. L'uso del termine "dito bianco delle vibrazioni" è stato generalmente sostituito nell'uso professionale da un concetto più ampio di HAVS, anche se è ancora usato dal pubblico. I sintomi del dito bianco vibrante sono la componente vascolare della HAVS. HAVS è una diffusa malattia industriale riconosciuta che colpisce decine di migliaia di lavoratori. Le lesioni possono verificarsi a frequenze comprese tra 5 e 2000 Hz, ma il rischio maggiore è tra 50 e 150 Hz.
