Anormale è un insieme soggettivo di caratteristiche, dato a loro in uno stato di febbre o rarità. Stabilire chi è normale e anormale è il problema che viene contestato nella psicologia anormale. Ci sono alcuni criteri comuni. Un criterio semplice è raramente statisticamente. Ha uno svantaggio: il più intelligente, onesto o felice è lo stesso di anormale che altrimenti.
