術後低酸素症術後に低酸素症が生じるが、ここでは、2つの大きなタイプがある。 一つは、手術直後から数時間にわたる主麻酔に関連した低酸素症であり、もう一つは、手術によるもの、または手術前の肺機能障害と関連して生じる低酸素症である。 電子は、様々な麻酔薬の効果による肺胞私換気と分泌物の蓄積、咳反射の低下などによる末梢気道の閉塞によるものと考えられている。 後者は、手術自体や手術後に生じた無気肺などの肺合併症によって引き起こされるものである。 수술후저산소증 수술후에 저산소증이 생기는데 여기에는 2개의 큰 유형이 있다. 하나는 수술직후부터 수시간에 걸치는 주로 마취에 관련한 저산소증이고 또 하나는 수술에 의한 것, 또는 수술전의 폐기능 장애와 관련해서 생기는 저산소증이다. 전자는 각종 마취제의 효과에 의한 폐포저환기와 분비물의 축적, 기침반사의 저하 등에 따른 말초기도의 폐색에 따른 것으로 생각되고 있다. 후자는 수술자체나 수술후에 생긴 무기폐 등의 폐합병증에 의해서 야기되는 것이다.
