정규 분포
확률 이론에서 정규 분포는 매우 일반적으로 발생하는 연속 확률 분포입니다. 실제 관찰이 두 개의 실제 한계 또는 실수 사이에있을 확률을 알려주는 함수입니다. 정규 분포는 통계에서 매우 중요하며 분포가 알려지지 않은 실수 값 임의 변수에 대해 자연 및 사회 과학에서 자주 사용됩니다. 온건 한 조건 하에서 동일한 분포로부터 독립적으로 추출 된 많은 확률 변수의 평균이 원래 분포의 형태와 관계없이 대략적으로 분포한다는 중앙 제한 정리 (central limit theorem)로 인해 정규 분포가 매우 유용합니다. 많은 독립적 인 프로세스의 합계가 될 것으로 예상되는 경우가 많으며 보통 매우 가까운 분포를 보입니다. 또한 관련 변수가 정상적으로 분포 될 때 많은 결과와 방법을 명시 적 형태로 분석적으로 도출 할 수 있습니다. 가우스 분포는 때때로 비공식적으로 종 곡선이라고 불립니다. 그러나 많은 다른 배포판은 종 모양입니다.
