열린 집합
토폴로지에서 열린 집합은 실제 회선에서 열린 간격이라는 개념을 일반화하는 추상 개념입니다. 가장 간단한 예제는 미터법 공간에서입니다. 열린 세트는 각 점 주위에 열린 공이있는 세트로 정의 할 수 있습니다. 그러나 일반적으로 열린 집합은 매우 추상적 일 수 있습니다. 집합의 집합은 임의의 수의 열린 집합의 합집합이 열려 있고 열린 집합의 한정된 수의 교차가 열려있는 한 열린 집합이라고 할 수 있습니다. 공간 자체가 열려 있습니다. 이러한 조건은 매우 느슨하며 개방형 세트를 선택할 때 엄청난 유연성을 허용합니다. 두 극단에서는 모든 세트가 열리거나 열 수있는 세트가 없지만 공간 자체는 열 수 있습니다. 그러나 실제로는 열린 세트는 보통 실제 라인의 열린 간격과 유사하도록 선택됩니다. 오픈 세트의 개념은 명시 적으로 거리 개념을 정의하지 않고도 토폴로지 공간에서 점의 근점을 말하는 근본적인 방법을 제공합니다. 일단 열린 세트를 선택하면, 연속성, 연결성 및 컴팩트 함의 속성은 가까운 장래의 개념을 사용하여 이러한 열린 세트를 사용하여 정의 할 수 있습니다. 공간에 대한 열린 집합의 각 선택을 토폴로지라고합니다.

사전에 열린 집합의 정의는 닫힌 집합이 아닌 집합입니다. 열린 세트의 다른 정의는 끝점을 제외한 실제 줄의 간격으로, 0과 1을 제외한 나머지는 제외합니다.
