निर्वासित
निर्वासित एक अशी व्यक्ती आहे जी आपल्या मूळ देशाबाहेरील आहे कारण वंश, धर्म, राष्ट्रीयत्व, राजकीय मत, किंवा ते एखाद्या व्यक्तीच्या छळाला सामोरे जाणारे सामाजिक वर्गाचे सदस्य असल्याने किंवा ते युद्ध चालवत असल्यामुळे त्यांना छळ सहन करावा लागला आहे. अशा व्यक्तीला 'आश्रय साधक' असे म्हटले जाऊ शकते जोपर्यंत ते दावा करीत नाहीत त्या राज्याने मान्यता दिले नाही. 2012 मध्ये अफगाणिस्तान निर्वासितांचे सर्वात मोठे स्त्रोत देश होते. जगभरातील प्रत्येक चार निर्वासितांपैकी एकाने अफगाणिस्तान आणि पाकिस्तान आणि इराणमध्ये 9 5% लोक निर्वासित होते.
