Kirsch wykorzystywany też bywa jako składnik różnego rodzaju potraw, deserów czy ciast np. w torcie szwarcwaldzkim dodawany jest do masy wiśniowej i nasącza się nim poszczególne warstwy ciasta a w szwajcarskim fondue oprócz pozostałych składników dodaje się do smaku kieliszek kirscha.
