Negroid
Negroid adalah istilah yang digunakan oleh antropolog forensik dan fizikal untuk merujuk kepada individu dan populasi yang berkongsi ciri-ciri morfologi dan kerangka tertentu yang kerap di kalangan kebanyakan penduduk di Sub-Sahara Afrika. Istilah ini biasanya dikaitkan dengan tanggapan tipologi kaum yang dipertikaikan oleh majoriti ahli antropologi. Untuk penggunaan moden ia dikaitkan dengan tanggapan kaum, dan tidak digalakkan, kerana ia berpotensi menyinggung perasaan. Negroid sebagai klasifikasi biologi masih digunakan, terutamanya dalam bidang antropologi forensik. Kata ini dibentuk oleh asas "Negro" dan akhiran "-oid", yang bermaksud "menyerupai".
