Nestorianisme
Nestorianisme adalah doktrin Kristologi yang diketengahkan oleh Nestorius, Patriarch of Constantinople dari 428-431. Doktrin, yang dimaklumkan oleh kajian Nestorius di bawah Theodore of Mopsuestia di Sekolah Antioch, menekankan perpaduan antara sifat manusia dan ilahi Yesus. Ajaran Nestorius membawanya ke dalam konflik dengan beberapa pemimpin gereja terkemuka yang lain, terutamanya Cyril of Alexandria, yang mengkritik terutama penolakannya terhadap Theotokos untuk Perawan Maria.
