Picrate
Picrate adalah garam atau ester asid picric. Tetapi ia juga boleh menjadi sebatian tambahan yang membentuk asid picric dengan banyak hidrokarbon aromatik, amina aromatik, amina alifatik, alkali, dan sebatian lain. Sebatian tambahan ini juga dipanggil picrates walaupun ia bukan garam asid picik. Ion picrat mempunyai warna kuning. Banyak picrates adalah bahan letupan, contohnya ammonium picrate. Ada yang digunakan sebagai bahan peledak utama, iaitu picrat plumbum atau potasium picrate yang mencari kegunaannya sebagai primer untuk peluru kartrij. Picrat beberapa logam cenderung ketara lebih sensitif terhadap kesan, geseran dan kejutan daripada asid picric itu sendiri. Akibatnya, penyimpanan asid picric dalam bekas logam sangat tidak digalakkan kerana risiko tinggi letupan tidak sengaja.
