Pompano
Pompanos / pɒmpənoʊ / adalah ikan laut dalam genus Trachinotus dari keluarga Carangidae. Pompano juga boleh merujuk kepada lain-lain ahli Carangidae yang lain, atau perintah Perciformes. Penampilan mereka adalah dalam keadaan yang mendalam dan makarel, biasanya perak dan tanpa gigi dengan ekor yang bercabang dan sempit. Daripada 20 spesies yang diterangkan, kebanyakannya dinilai sebagai makanan. Sesetengah spesies dianggap hadiah istimewa dan ikan permainan.
