Pokok Bunga Mawar atau
ros merupakan sejenis tumbuhan berbunga yang sering di tanam sebagai pokok hiasan. Tumbuhan berbunga mula muncul pada zaman Cretaceous. Pokok berbunga pertama adalah angiosperm. Bunga Mawar adalah salah satu tumbuhan berbunga tumbuhan saka, tergolong dalam kumpulan Angiosperm. Bunga Mawar adalah salah satu jenis pokok bunga yang telah lama dikenali oleh masyarakat Melayu. Ia disebut dalam Hikayat Bayan Budiman yang ditulis sekitar 1370-an. Bunga mawar mempunyai bau harum, biasanya mawar kampung mempunyai bau yang paling kuat. Dalam kebudayaan barat, dan dalam kebudayaan Melayu, bunga Mawar melambangkan bunga cinta.
