Harley Granville-Barker (urodzony Harley Granville Barker, nazwa na scenie, Granville Barker, przerywane imię przyjęte później, 25 listopada 1877 w Londynie - 31 sierpnia 1946 r. W Paryżu) był angielskim aktorem, reżyserem, producentem, krytykiem i dramatopisarzem. Barker zadebiutował na scenie tam w wieku 14 lat. Jego praca aktorska doprowadziła do coraz większego niezadowolenia z niskich standardów komercyjnego teatru. W 1899 roku pełnił rolę Richarda II pod kierunkiem Williama Poela, założyciela elżbietańskiego stowarzyszenia scenicznego. W 1900 roku stał się wiodącym członkiem Stowarzyszenia Etapowego, co doprowadziło do nawiązania kontaktów z George Bernardem Shawem, Williamem Archerem, Elizabeth Robins i Williamem Poelem. Jego pierwsza sztuka, "Marrying of Ann Leete" została wyprodukowana przez Society Stage w 1900 roku. Po sukcesie w Stage Society, Barker zwrócił się ze swoją firmą teatralną, a J.E. Vedrenne zajął się wynajmem Royal Court Theatre w Londynie. Tam zarządzał trzema sezonami teatru repertuarowego.
