Anafase
Anafase, do grego antigo ἀνά e φάσις, é o estágio da mitose ou meiose quando os cromossomos são divididos e as cromátides da irmã se movem para pólos opostos da célula. A anafase representa aproximadamente 1% da duração do ciclo celular. Começa com o desencadeamento regulado da transição metafase para anáfase. Metafase termina com a destruição de B ciclina. B ciclina é marcada com ubiquitina que a marca para destruição por proteassomas, o que é necessário para a função das cinases dependentes de ciclina metafase. A anafase começa quando o complexo promotor de anafase marca uma chaperona inibitória chamada securina com ubiquitina para destruição. Securin é uma proteína que inibe uma protease conhecida como separase. A destruição do securin desencadeia a separase, que então quebra a coesão, uma proteína responsável por manter as cromátides irmãs juntas. Os centrímeros são divididos, e os novos cromossomos filhas são puxados para os pólos. Eles assumem uma forma de V quando são afastados.
