Ba'ath Party
O Partido Socialista Ba'ath Árabe foi um partido político fundado na Síria por Michel Aflaq, Salah al-Din al-Bitar e associados de Zaki al-Arsuzi. O partido defendeu o Ba'athism, que é uma ideologia que mistura os interesses nacionalistas árabes, pan-arabismo, árabe socialistas e anti-imperialistas. Ba'athism exige a unificação do mundo árabe em um único estado. Seu lema, "Unidade, Liberdade, Socialismo", refere-se à unidade árabe e à liberdade de controle e interferência não-árabes.
