Cataphyll
Na morfologia da planta, uma catapátil é uma folha cuja função primária é algo diferente da fotossíntese. As catáfilas são mais triviais ou transitoriamente fotossintéticas, e em vez de fotosíntese, as principais funções da maioria dos tipos são o armazenamento, a proteção ou o suporte estrutural.
