Cristal líquido colesteróico
Um monitor de cristais líquidos colesteróstatos é uma exibição contendo um cristal líquido com uma estrutura helicoidal e, portanto, é quiral. Os cristais líquidos colestéricos são também conhecidos como cristais líquidos nematicos quirais. Algumas empresas, como a Chiral Photonics, começaram a explorar CLCs como base para dispositivos fotônicos.
