O QUE SIGNIFICA COLOURFULNESS EM INGLÊS
Coloridez
Na colorimetria e na teoria das cores, coloração, croma e saturação estão relacionados, mas conceitos distintos referentes à intensidade percebida de uma cor específica. Coloridez é o grau de diferença entre uma cor e cinza. Chroma é a colorido em relação ao brilho de outra cor que parece branca em condições de visualização semelhantes. A saturação é a coloração de uma cor em relação ao seu próprio brilho. Embora este conceito geral seja intuitivo, termos como croma, saturação, pureza e intensidade são freqüentemente usados sem grande precisão, e mesmo quando bem definidos dependem muito do modelo de cor específico em uso. Um estímulo altamente colorido é vívido e intenso, enquanto um estímulo menos colorido aparece mais mudo, mais próximo do cinza. Sem colorido, uma cor é um cinza "neutro". Com três atributos: colorido, leveza e matiz, qualquer cor pode ser descrita.
