Intervalo de confiança
Nas estatísticas, um intervalo de confiança é uma medida da confiabilidade de uma estimativa. É um tipo de estimativa de intervalo de um parâmetro de população. É um intervalo observado, em princípio diferente de amostra para amostra, que freqüentemente inclui o parâmetro de interesse se o experimento for repetido. Com que frequência o intervalo observado contém o parâmetro é determinado pelo nível de confiança ou coeficiente de confiança.
