Consubstanciação

Aconsubstanciação é uma doutrina teológica que tenta descrever a natureza da Eucaristia cristã em termos metafísicos concretos. Ele sustenta que, durante o sacramento, a "substância" fundamental do corpo e do sangue de Cristo está presente ao lado da substância do pão e do vinho, que permanecem presentes. A doutrina da consubstanciação é muitas vezes realizada em contraste com a doutrina da transubstanciação. O adjetivo consubstancial no entanto descreve um conceito teológico diferente. A doutrina da consubstanciação é erroneamente identificada como a doutrina eucarística de Martinho Lutero, que definiu sua doutrina como a união sacramental.
