O cornett, o cornetto ou o zink é um instrumento de vento inicial que data dos períodos medieval, renascentista e barroco, popular entre 1500 e 1650. Foi usado no que agora se chama alta capellas ou conjuntos de vento. Não deve ser confundido com o corneta tipo trompete. O som do cornett foi produzido por vibrações dos lábios contra um bocal do copo. Consiste em um tubo de madeira cônico coberto de couro, com cerca de 24 centímetros de comprimento, e com orifícios para os dedos e um bocal pequeno ou de marfim.
