Excelência
Excelência é um estilo honorífico dado a certos membros de uma organização ou estado. Uma vez que tenha direito ao título de "Excelência", o titular pode manter o direito a essa cortesia ao longo de sua vida, de acordo com as normas diplomáticas e diplomáticas internacionalmente difundidas. Geralmente as pessoas dirigidas como Excelência são chefes de Estado, chefes de governo, governadores, embaixadores, certas eclesiásticas, realeza, aristocracia e militares, e outros com classificação equivalente. Às vezes, é mal interpretado como um título de escritório, mas é, de fato, um honorífico que precede vários títulos, tanto em discurso como por escrito. Em referência a tal oficial, toma a forma de Sua Excelência; em endereço direto, Sua Excelência, ou, menos formalmente, simplesmente Excelência. A abreviatura HE é freqüentemente usada em vez de Sua Excelência; alternativamente, pode representar Sua Eminência.
