Leontodon é um gênero de plantas de dente-de-leão na família Asteraceae, vulgarmente conhecido como hawkbits. Seu nome inglês deriva da crença medieval de que os falcões comeram a planta para melhorar sua visão. Embora originalmente originalmente nativos da Eurásia e do Norte da África, algumas espécies já se estabeleceram em outros países, incluindo os Estados Unidos e a Nova Zelândia.
