O ferro é um elemento químico com o símbolo Fe e o número atômico 26. É um metal na primeira série de transição. É em massa o elemento mais comum na Terra, formando grande parte do núcleo externo e interno da Terra. É o quarto elemento mais comum na crosta terrestre.
