O Memory Stick é um formato de cartão de memória flash removível, lançado pela Sony em outubro de 1998, e também é usado em geral para descrever toda a família de Memory Sticks. Além do Memory Stick original, esta família inclui o Memory Stick PRO, uma revisão que permite uma maior capacidade de armazenamento máxima e velocidades de transferência de arquivos mais rápidas; Memory Stick Duo, uma versão de pequeno formato do Memory Stick; e o ainda menor Memory Stick Micro. Em dezembro de 2006, a Sony adicionou o Memory Stick PRO-HG, uma variante de alta velocidade do PRO para ser usada em vídeos de alta definição e câmeras fixas. Os cartões Memory Stick podem ser usados em camcorders Sony XDCAM EX através do adaptador MEAD-SD01. SanDisk e Lexar estão entre alguns produtores terceirizados de MS. A Kingston oferece microSD universal para adaptadores Memory Stick Pro Duo, mas estes não são oficiais.
