Micro-encapsulamento
O micro encapsulamento é um processo em que pequenas partículas ou gotículas são cercadas por um revestimento para dar pequenas cápsulas de muitas propriedades úteis. Em geral, é usado para ingerir ingredientes alimentares, enzimas, células ou outros materiais em uma escala de micro métricas. A microencapsulação também pode ser usada para incluir sólidos, líquidos ou gases dentro de uma parede micrométrica feita de película solúvel ou macia, de modo a reduzir a freqüência de dosagem e evitar a degradação de produtos farmacêuticos. De uma forma relativamente simples, uma microcápsula é uma esfera pequena com uma parede uniforme ao redor. O material dentro da microcápsula é referido como núcleo, fase interna ou preenchimento, enquanto a parede às vezes é chamada de escudo, revestimento ou membrana. Alguns materiais, como lipídios e polímeros, como o alginato, podem ser usados como uma mistura para encaixar o material de interesse no interior. A maioria das microcápsulas tem poros com diâmetros entre alguns micrómetros e alguns milímetros. Os materiais de revestimento geralmente utilizados para o revestimento são: - 1. Celulose de etil. 2.
