O QUE SIGNIFICA MULTIPLET EM INGLÊS
Multiplet
Na física, o multipleto pode significar: ▪ Um grupo de linhas espectrales relacionadas ▪ Um grupo de partículas subatômicas relacionadas. O exemplo mais conhecido é um multipleto de rotação, que é uma representação grupal de um subgrupo SU da álgebra de Lorentz. Por exemplo, um singlet de rotação é uma representação trivial, um giro de spin é uma representação fundamental e um triplete de rotação é uma representação vetorial. Em outros casos, o termo multipleto geralmente se refere à representação fundamental de uma álgebra de calibre. Por exemplo, em QCD, os quarks estão em um multipleto de SU.
