Texto preditivo
O texto preditivo é uma tecnologia de entrada utilizada onde uma tecla ou botão representa muitas letras, como nos teclados numéricos dos telefones celulares e nas tecnologias de acessibilidade. Cada pressão de tecla resulta em uma predição em vez de sequenciamento repetitivo através do mesmo grupo de "letras" que representa, na mesma ordem invariável. O texto preditivo pode permitir que uma palavra inteira seja inserida por uma tecla pressionada. O texto preditivo faz uso eficiente de menos chaves do dispositivo para inserir a escrita em uma mensagem de texto, um e-mail, um catálogo de endereços, um calendário e outros. Os sistemas de texto preditivo, mais amplamente utilizados, são T9, iTap e LetterWise / WordWise. Existem muitas maneiras únicas de construir um dispositivo que preveja texto, mas todos os sistemas de texto preditivo têm configurações lingüísticas iniciais que oferecem previsões re priorizadas para serem adaptadas a cada usuário. Este aprendizado adapta-se, por meio da memória do dispositivo, ao feedback de desambiguação de um usuário que resulta em pressionamentos de teclas corretivas, como pressionar uma tecla "próxima" para chegar à intenção.
