Fratura
Fractura - uma versão tardia da carta gótica, surgiu nos séculos XVII-XVIII. Na Alemanha de Hitler, as facções foram usadas como um elemento da propaganda nazista. Supunha-se que as fraturas representam minuciosidade, seriedade e profundidade, enquanto a antiqua que era onipresente naquela época na Europa atesta a leveza, frivolidade e superficialidade, estranhas ao espírito alemão. Mas, em 1941, o uso de frações no Terceiro Reich foi proibido. A proibição foi relacionada supostamente com o possível impacto no fone de ouvido das letras de uma carta quadrada judaica, distribuída, em particular, entre os judeus da Suabia.
