Pestii cu patru ochi sunt un gen, Anableps, de pești din familia Anablepidae. Au ochi ridicați deasupra vârfului capului și împărțiți în două părți diferite, astfel încât să poată vedea sub și deasupra suprafeței apei în același timp. La fel ca rudele lor, purtătorii de vieți singuri, cei cu patru ochi se îmbină doar pe o parte, pe dreapta - pe bărbați "cu mâna" cu femele de stânga "mânați" și invers. Aceste pești locuiesc în ape dulci și în ape sărate și sunt rareori marine de coastă. Acestea provin din zonele joase din sudul Mexicului până în Honduras și nordul Americii de Sud.
