Antroposofia, o filozofie întemeiată de Rudolf Steiner, postulează existența unei lumi spirituale obiective, inteligibil înțelegătoare, accesibilă experienței directe prin dezvoltarea interioară. În cercetările sale despre lumea spirituală, antropozofia își propune să atingă precizia și claritatea atinse de științele naturale în investigațiile lor asupra lumii fizice. Ideile antroposofice au fost aplicate practic în multe domenii, cum ar fi educația lui Steiner / Waldorf, educația specială, agricultura biodynamică, medicina, banca etică, dezvoltarea organizațională și artele.
