Precipitare
În meteorologie, precipitarea este orice produs al condensării vaporilor de apă atmosferică care cad sub gravitate. Principalele forme de precipitații includ ploaia, ploaia, zăpada, zăpada, graupelul și grindina. Precipitarea are loc atunci când o porțiune locală din atmosferă devine saturată cu vapori de apă, astfel încât apa se condensează și "precipită". Spre deosebire de picăturile de ploaie, fulgii de zăpadă cresc într-o varietate de forme și modele diferite, determinate de caracteristicile de temperatură și de umiditate ale aerului pe care fulgul de zăpadă îl deplasează pe pământ.
