Morfometria sau morfometria se referă la analiza cantitativă a formei, un concept care cuprinde mărimea și forma. Analizele morfometrice se efectuează de regulă pe organisme și sunt utile în analizarea înregistrărilor fosile, impactul mutațiilor asupra formei, modificările de dezvoltare în formă, covarianțele dintre factorii ecologici și forma, precum și estimarea parametrilor cantitativi-genetici ai formei. Morfometria poate fi utilizată pentru a cuantifica o trăsătură de semnificație evolutivă și prin detectarea modificărilor în formă, deduce ceva din ontogenia, funcția sau relațiile evolutive. Un obiectiv major al morfometriei este de a testa statistic ipotezele despre factorii care afectează forma. "Morfometria", în sensul mai larg al termenului, este de asemenea folosită pentru a localiza cu precizie anumite zone ale organelor, cum ar fi creierul, și este folosită pentru a descrie formele altor lucruri.
