Potența celulelor
Eficiența celulelor este capacitatea celulei de a se diferenția în alte tipuri de celule. Cu cât mai multe tipuri de celule pe care o celulă le poate diferenția, cu atât este mai mare potența. Potența este, de asemenea, descrisă ca potențial de activare a genei în interiorul unei celule, care ca un continuum începe cu totipotenția de a desemna o celulă cu cel mai mare potențial de diferențiere, pluripotență, multipotență, oligopotenție și în cele din urmă unipotență.
